A radical new anthropology textbook addresses several of the most widely-believed myths about the Inuit. Author John Steckley explain that the Inuit don't have 52 words for snow and they don't abandon their elders on ice-floes. He talks about where these myths came from, why they continue to be found in textbooks and what effect they have on present-day Inuit culture.
