Ocean Wise, Seafood Watch and similar programs offer consumers the opportunity to select more sustainable seafood . UBC doctoral candidate Jennifer Jacquet says these campaigns are essentially meaningless in the context of oceans that have been depleted of 90% of their large fish. She says the only responsible choice is to stop eating fish entirely.
