Jamie Ardeña layers ethnographic photographs, seeds and wire into brightly coloured resin to create a commentary on the colonial period in the Philippines. His work is on show at Rhizome Café [5] until July 16. He talks with Lisa Moore about how and why he works with these images and what they mean to him.
