How many cops, cameras and other surveillance gear do you get for $1 billion dollars?
Well, Vancouver residents are finding out the answer….that's because $1 billion dollars is the security budget for the 2010 winter games, which starts on Feb 12th.
Stark Raven spoke to anti-Olympic activist and UBC professor Chris Shaw to help us makes sense of the unfolding Olympic security regime. Chris is the author of the book Five Ring Circus: Myths and Realities of the Olympic Games [7].
