Winnipeg-born singer-songwriter and filmmaker Bob Wiseman blends folk, rock, jazz and explicitly political themes. He has toured with Feist [2], Final Fantasy [3], Scott Thompson [4] and has been a guest performer with Wilco [5], The Wallflowers [6], Edie Brickell [7]. He was a member of Blue Rodeo [8] from that band's inception, departing the band after their 1992 album Lost Together [9]. He was also a member of The Hidden Cameras [10] and Slutarded [11].
In the early 90s he offered to take up Prince [12]'s name when the purple one decided he no longer wished to be called Prince [12]. The cease and desist letter remains laminated in Bob's lavatory to this day.
