Gaza: Accountability and justice are the only road to peace

More than six months after the publication of the Goldstone Report, violations of international law and human rights persist in Gaza, including the continued blockade against the Gaza population.

In its January 2010 report, "Suffocating: The Gaza Strip under Israeli Blockade," Amnesty International detailed the plight of more than 1.4 million Palestinians, a year after Operation Cast Lead.

The Gaza blockade must not be a forgotten affair. Join us and learn more about the history of the region, the current peace initiatives, and receive testimony from a member of the Canadian Parliamentary delegation to Palestine. We must be informed in order to act effectively.
