There's no reason for optimism that Khadr will find either justice or freedom in Canada.
Depending on the political winds I guess. Would it represent progress, some small increment, to have at least separated him from the whimsy-driven American military legal system? And with enough domestic fuss, he'll be too hot a potato to hold onto in the Canadian, dumb and dumber version?
