On the morning of September 13, 2007, Sandy Nette, 41, visited her Edmonton, Alberta chiropractor. He adjusted her neck, a manipulation he had done hundreds of times before even though Sandy was perfectly healthy. A few hours later Sandy suffered a stroke that left her almost completely paralyzed.
