On February 23, 2016, during an interview with CBC Radio’s Early Edition, Education Minister Mike Bernier said this about parents and other groups who have expressed concern about public education funding:
“We constantly hear from a few groups that it’s underfunded. Unfortunately, when you hear that noise coming from a few groups all the time, that’s what people start to believe.”
