Open Media is raising the alarm about international agreements which are threatening our digital rights and freedoms. Here are three important initatives which need attention.
Ministers from Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the UK, and the U.S. want to force companies to crush the encryption that protects our private data and messages. But ordinary people need and use encryption every day, in everything from online banking to personal messaging in apps like WhatsApp. Join the campaign to stop them here.
Negotiators and top decision-makers have bee putting your digital rights at risk as part of the renegotiations on the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA) and as part of the TPP. The TPP maybe coming back in November and needs to be stopped. Let the NAFTA renegotiators know that there is no free trade without a free internet.
