Water: Issue guide to what ought to be a number one election issue

With most of the Praries and the West Coast facing fires, a water crisis in the United States, as major lakes in the western United States are depleted of water (e.g. Lake Powell which supplies water to Nevada, Arizona and California has lost half its water), water should be an important issue for our politicians and this federal election.  We need to determine how this important resource is preserved and how treaties will impact control of water.  Instead very little has been said about this issue in the debates accordng to rabble.ca blogger Emma Lui.

If water is an important issue for you, read her great article H2O in #elxn42: Your guide to water and the federal election and ask the people vying for your vote what they will do about water.
