“The basic goal of this movement is to restore the role of the Two Spirit person in Indigenous North American communities,” is how the organization NativeOUT describes the Two Spirit Movement. NativeOUT works to on behalf of Native LGBTQ people supporting Two Spirit societies in a variety of locations.
As a part of this work, NativeOUT offers a broad and very educational Resource Center with everything from book and film recommendations to an extensive research guide with tips on proper documentation and academic process.
