Contrary to glib claims that a 'recovery' is at hand, global capitalism continues to sink into the worst economic crisis since the Great Depression of the 1930s. Moral critiques like Michael Moore's Capitalism: A Love Story tell part of the story, but only a Marxist analysis can illuminate the underlying dynamics of profit-driven insanity and provide a political perspective to free humanity from it.
