At our 4th Annual Gala Fundraiser, Dr. Laura Penny, local best-selling award-winning author, social commentator and university teacher, will be our guest speaker. Most recently winner of a 2011 Atlantic Book Award for More Money Than Brains: Why School Sucks, College is Crap, and Idiots Think They're Right, she has been described as "One of Canada's funniest and most incisive social critics."
