Join the Council of Canadians and the Canadian Union of Public Employees to celebrate World Water Day with a free concert by local folk/roots favourites Headwaters. The celebration will also feature the first annual Tappie Awards -- a humorous tribute to community members and groups who have worked hard to promote and protect B.C.'s public water system. The event kicks off with a tap water toast at 2 p.m. and will run, rain or shine until 4 p.m.
