Diversity and Equity Leadership Training (DELI):

Integrating Anti-Racism with Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Transformation

September 25-28

Sunday 7pm to Wednesday 4pm

Neuroscience research reveals that behaviour is dictated by how we feel rather than what we think. Developing greater emotional intelligence – self-awareness, empathy and relationship-building – is recognized as foundational for leaders, especially regarding diversity issues. This cutting-edge, experiential program explores the unconscious mind and bias management, anti-racism strategies, conflict resolution and emotional intelligence, providing a deeply holistic approach to equity. Leadership: Shakil Choudhury is a Senior Partner in Anima Leadership, award-winning equity educator, and author. Tionda Cain is the TC Creative Body Mind Spirit Program Coordinator.

Cost: $785 ($545 tuition + $240 meals/accommodation)

Diversity and Equity Leadership Institute (DELI):

Facilitation & Design

September 28-30

Wednesday 7pm to Friday 1pm

Deepen your knowledge of facilitation and design principles underlying the DELI.  We will explore workshop structure, frameworks, rationale as well as teaching choices, in order to maximize the ability for organizations to embrace and understand the difficult terrain of bias, inclusion and exclusion. In small and large groups, you will work with trained facilitators to further enhance your own skills and knowledge base to become more effective trainers in the areas of discrimination, emotional intelligence and conflict transformation. Must have participated in a previous Diversity and Equity Leadership program. Leadership: Shakil Choudhury and Tionda Cain (see above).

Cost: $485 ($325 tuition + $160 meals/accommodation)

Register for both DELI I and II: Cost: $1175
