Lunch break film: Myths for Profit - Canada's Role in Industries of War and Peace
RESOLUTIONS AND ELECTIONS The conference will update and supplement SC resolutions on many topics, including the freedom struggle in Libya, phasing out the Alberta Tar Sands, pension reform, public ownership, green energy conversion, solidarity with Palestine, opposition to the imperialist wars of occupation, legalizing marijuana, defending Cuba, Venezuela and Bolivia, and upholding workers' rights in Canada. Strategies and tactics to advance socialist policies within the NDP, leading up to the NDP Federal Convention set for Vancouver, June 17-19, will be discussed. There will be an opportunity to add new members to the Socialist Caucus Federal Steering Committee.
