ASHRAF OMAR was a participant in the Egyptian Revolution and is a leading member of the Revolutionary Socialists in Cairo. Active in the student movement in Cairo and Helwan, Ashraf is a member of the editorial board of Socialist Papers and the editor of the Revolutionary Socialists' website: http://www.e-socialists.net/.

DR. MOHAMMED SHOKR is the Canadian spokesperson for the Egyptian National Association for Change a...nd a long-time campaigner for freedom and democracy in Egypt. He visited Egypt shortly after the fall of Mubarak.

JAMES CLARK is an anti-war activist in Toronto and a participant in the Cairo Conference from 2005 to 2008. He is also a leading member of the International Socialists.
