Yet their employers, hugely profitable multinational hotel companies like Hyatt, Starwood (Westin), Marriott and Four Seasons keep trying to squeeze more and more from workers.
Workloads increase, housekeepers work in pain, workers struggle to support their families and no one can afford to retire. The majority of hotel workers in Vancouver are women and immigrants.
