Introduction to anarchism

Presenter: Common Cause Ottawa Description: Anarchism is a political philosophy and practice that stands in opposition to all forms of domination and hierarchy. The first part of the talk will offer an introduction to the core ideas of anarchism. The remainder of the talk will look at anarchist organizing practices such as direct democracy and direct action. In the words of the great Italian anarchist Errico Malatesta, "Anarchism is organization, organization, and more organization!" The talk will be followed by discussion.
