With Obama's inauguration on January 20th, Amnesty International and the Coalition to Repatriate Omar Khadr are hosting a rally to remind the incming American leadership of their promise to shut down Guantanamo Bay Detention Camp.
In conjunction, this is a perfect opportunity to draw attention to and stand up for the rights of Canadian citizen Omar Khadr, the youngest detainee at Guantanamo, who has been held in prison for more than six years. Along with reminding the new US executive of their promise, we are also sending a message to our Canadian government that Canadian citizens demand Omar Khadr's immediate repatriation!
