Harbourfront Centre honours the act of bearing witness to the African diaspora with the celebration of Kuumba, which includes Africa, the Caribbean, Canada, South America, Europe, the U.S. and anywhere people of African descent have made a significant contribution to the culture. Here you will see black in history and you witness the historical footprints in time by the indigenous black Canadian and American experience. Kuumba is a celebration and fusion of art, history and the energy of Caribbean culture.
