This 80 minute documentary tells the story of the rise of the mass, popular movement for social justice in Haiti that came to be known as "Lavalas."

It focuses, in particular, on the events surrounding theoverthrow of the popular, elected government of President Jean-Bertrand Aristide in February, 2004 and the role of foreign military forces acting under the authorization of the United Nations Security Council.

This riveting film is a must-see for anyone concerned about big-power politics in today's world and the prospects for achieving social justice in the world's poorest countries.
