A multimedia presentation by several international experts on the experience of indigenous communities who are resisting the world's largest gold mine, Barrick Gold.

Documentary film makers, photo journalists, and activists that have worked in Norway, Phillipines, Tanzania, Argentina and Chile will showcase new art and speak about critical issues in the regions.

A local indigenous speaker will also discuss the effects of local mining on the indigenous community in Canada.

There are many health hazzards and human rights violations associated with gold mining, this event will address such concerns.
