Samantha Chang, a talented flutist of Canada, graduate of the prestigious Royal Academy of Music in London, England, concluded her year long performance tour at Carnegie Hall, NY, USA in March with her fellow musicians Conrad Chow (violin) and Ellen Meyer (piano). To share the music experience to the audience of her home community, a new concert series called ‘Music Tutti' will be performed by Samantha and seven other talents. Together, they will delight the GTA audience with an exciting program. Soloists include: Dr. Conrad Chow, violin; prizewinner at the 2006 International Stepping Stone Competition in Quebec Rebecca Leung, piano; invited to France to perform for the 200th Anniversary of Chopin Chen Liu, piano; member of the Toronto Holiday Symphony Orchestra in Beijing 2008 Olympic Celebration Concert Ensembles include: Duo Music (Margot Rydall, flute; Ivan Zilman, guitar) Riverdale Ensemble (Stephen Fox, clarinet; Joyce Lai, violin; Ellen Meyer, piano) Shanghai Trio of Toronto (Jessica Fang Jia, violin; James Xia, cello; Carol Di Lin, piano) Ontario Cross-Cultural Music Society Youth Symphony Orchestra (young musicians from all across Ontario; under the direction of Chuen Tam).
