Peace rally at the G20 Summit
From Afghanistan to Palestine, occupation is a crime!
The G20 countries are the biggest arms dealers in the world. They account for 87
per cent of global military spending to a total of $1.3 trillion in 2009. That
money should be used for human needs, not to enforce brutal occupations in Iraq,
Afghanistan, and Palestine. Join us to demand that the G20: end the siege of Gaza,
end the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, and ensure self determination for all people
of the world.
Following the rally, there will be a feeder march that joins the main
demonstration, People First! We Deserve Better, at Queen's Park at 1:00 p.m.
