Premiere Film Screening "A Sense of Wonder: The Story of Rachel Carson"

 

Tickets $5 at the door or advance tickets available at Outside the Lines bookstore (6297 Quinpool Rd.) or P'lovers Environmental Store (5657 Spring Garden Rd.) Come and watch a film about the life of Rachel Carson, the courageous American biologist, who wrote the book "Silent Spring" in 1962.

The film will be followed by a dynamic panel of women environmental leaders in Nova Scotia and a special artistic performance.  In celebration of International Women's Day. Limited Seating.

Organized and sponsored by the Nova Scotia Environmental Network, Nova Scotia Nature Trust, Nova Scotia Advisory Council on the Status of Women, and the Arthur Irving Academy for the Environment Acadia University. Proceeds to the Nova Scotia Nature Trust and the Nova Scotia Environmental Network.
