Justice for Janitors Rally and March
For the past two years cleaning workers in Toronto have been organising to make their lives better. To date 2,000 workers from five different companies have joined SEIU Local 2’s Justice for Janitors.
The campaign has introduced a new way of organising cleaning workers. Instead of organising at one building, workers have been organising on a city wide basis.
At present workers from Impact Cleaning Services Ltd are coming together to form a union. Their company has put up every roadblock possible.
Justice for Janitors has been putting pressure on the property owners and managers who use Impact to tell them to stop their unfair practices.
Join us for this rally and march to demand that the owners step up and start holding their contractors accountable for bad practices.
