Make a donation to support Amnesty's campaigning on behalf of WOZA.

In Zimbabwe, human rights activists are not supported in their work, but often detained and beaten instead. Women of Zimbabwe Arise (WOZA) is an organization of women's human rights defenders that peacefully protest to demand better access to food, health care and education for all Zimbabweans.

On Valentine's Day, WOZA sends a message of love to Zimbabwe's government, asking only that they be cared for and respected in return. Your contribution and support, no matter how large or how small, will help WOZA members to pay for legal costs, organize community outreach, arrange demonstrations, and provide financial assistance to members who require medical treatment.

We are coordinating various initiatives during the first few weeks of February at University of Toronto - St. George Campus, York University - Keele Campus, Cafe Educational Workshop at Venues in the GTA and other events leading to the Main Dinner Fundraiser which is projected to be held on

Join us for Letter and Petition writing, Buy Roses, Raise Awareness, Attend our Educational Cafe's and the WOZA Dinner which is a night filled with Music, Guest Speakers and delicious Food! Don't miss out!
