Diversity and Equity Leadership: Integrating Anti-Racism with Emotional Intelligence and Conflict Transformation short version

Neuroscience research reveals that behaviour is dictated by how we feel, rather than by what we think. Developing greater emotional intelligence - self-awareness, empathy and relationship-building - is recognized as foundational for leaders, especially regarding diversity issues. This cutting-edge, experiential program explores the unconscious mind and bias management, anti-racism strategies, conflict resolution and emotional intelligence, providing a deeply holistic approach to equity.

Leadership: Shakil Choudhury is Senior Partner in Anima Leadership, an award-winning equity educator and author with 15 years experience. Sandy Yep is Director of Education and Training at the Canadian Race Relations Foundation. He has conducted trainings in equity, human rights and anti-racism at all levels of government and in various sectors including education, health, policing and justice. Tionda Cain, PRG.
