Socialist hip hop talk and show

Mohammad Ali will be giving a presentation on the political roots of hip hop culture. His examination will look at how the culture went from being the next level of the American civil rights movement to the living contradiction
that it is today (both for better and worst). The presentation will be very interactive and will be followed by a performance.

Mohammad Ali has toured across Canada as a social justice MC promoting both good music and important causes. His second album is due to drop in the coming months. He is also heavily involved in the student movement and currently serves as the President of the Continuing Education Students' Association of Ryerson.
