The Syrian struggle to topple the regime and the brutal response by government forces have profoundly affected the political landscape of the Arab world and the regional balance of power in the wider Middle East. Professor Jens Hanssen will briefly introduce and then moderate a critical conversation with audience participation to explore the implications of the Syrian uprising for Arab solidarity and to the future of Palestinian resistance.
