Bring in 2013 with friends at one of Vancouver's best annual NYE celebrations. Some of the west coast's most innovative live electronic artists, media arts & light show, progressive community vibe, complimentary hors d'ouevres, and seasonal beverages! Let's show the City of Vancouver that they can not marginalize Indigenous culture, they can not evict the community from Woodward's, and we have a right to be here to celebrate an inclusive Vancouver!

W2 Lights NYE is an institution, selling out in advance each year. We've scaled it intimate with a spectacular 3 level celebration of lights, music + friends. 2013 programming themes present female chanteuses, digital Indigenous, cumbia, and future bass music. A diverse mix showcasing what W2 is all about.

Proceeds from tonight's event help our innovative community-owned cultural space stay open. Thank you for supporting W2! *Help spread the word about W2 LIGHTS NYE 2013 - invite your Facebook friends!

Thank you for reading this story...

More people are reading rabble.ca than ever and unlike many news organizations, we have never put up a paywall – at rabble we’ve always believed in making our reporting and analysis free to all. But media isn’t free to produce. rabble’s total budget is likely less than what big corporate media spend on photocopying (we kid you not!) and we do not have any major foundation, sponsor or angel investor. Our only supporters are people and organizations -- like you. This is why we need your help.

If everyone who visits rabble and likes it chipped in a couple of dollars per month, our future would be much more secure and we could do much more: like the things our readers tell us they want to see more of: more staff reporters and more work to complete the upgrade of our website.

We’re asking if you could make a donation, right now, to set rabble on solid footing in 2017.
