Canada's Operations Abroad - Community Impacts and the Case for New Legislation
Peter Julian, MP (Burnaby-New Westminster) will be hosting a conference entitled Walking the Talk: Human Rights Abroad. The aim of this conference is to have a focused dialogue on international violations of human and environmental rights and related corporate practices, and to demonstrate the importance of providing the legislative options supported by Peter's Private Member's Bill, C-323 (formerly C-354, C-492), in specific situations.
