The West End Food Co-op is excited to announce a Bike-A-Thon to raise funds to open our non-profit local food store/food hub.
The “Ride for Real Food” will be held Sunday September 25, with a route that takes us mostly through Toronto parks and ends up at Matchbox Garden, one of our many producer members at the Sorauren Farmers’ Market. Matchbox farms at the Living City Farm at the Kortright Centre for Conservation. They are housed in a Toronto and Region Conservation Authority park, with sustainable building and renewable energy demonstration projects, the organic farm and lots of paths through rolling hills. We are proud to have these organizations as sponsors along with Envoy Business Services Urbane Cyclist and Mountain Equipment Co-op.
