Video livestream skills are an essential part of a social media toolkit. Organizations use livestream to stream live events over the Internet, expand community and engage audiences beyond geographic limitations., Canada’s most read independent, progressive news website, is seeking to recruit livestream technicians and is offering is rare opportunity to learn livestreaming techniques from experienced online media pros.

Who should come to this workshop?

You own or have experience operating a video camera, are familiar with the concept of livestreaming and want to get practical training that can kickstart your progress, and you are interested in working with independent media.

If this sounds like you, join us for this skills-building workshop with emerging media expert Wayne MacPhail, and’s senior livestream producer, Tor Sandberg.
