rabble.ca is pleased to welcome David Molenhuis to the new position of Associate Publisher — a position that supports rabble’s fundraising, outreach and community-building efforts. Prior to joining rabble.ca David worked for the independent publisher Between the Lines in Toronto and was a long-time student activist who served as the Chairperson of the Canadian Federation of Students in Ottawa. He is a writer, editor, and most recently the co-editor of a literary collection of critical perspectives on health care, Mess: The Hospital Anthology (Tightrope Books, 2014).

“David brings a wide range of experience from his backgrounds in organizing, management, and publishing. His decade’s worth of social justice movement and media work will serve rabble very well,” said rabble.ca Publisher Kim Elliott.

“I am very excited to join rabble at this crucial stage in progressive organizing. With a federal election on the horizon, the vital role that rabble plays as a consistent voice for solid analysis and commentary that represents the majority of Canadians is clearer than ever,” said Molenhuis. “I am thrilled to be part of such a talented and enthusiastic group committed to growing a sustainable alternative to corporate media.”
