Overview

Omar Ahmed Khadr is a Canadian convicted of five war crimes by the U.S. military. In October 2010, Khadr pleaded guilty as a part of a plea agreement.

 

Early Life

Khadr was born in Toronto on September 19, 1986.

 

Detainment

Khadr was the youngest person held by the United States at the Guantanamo Bay detention camp – a detainment facility located on the island of Cuba.
