CJPME welcomes MNA Amir Khadir for a conference on the boycott of Israeli products
CJPME is pleased to host a lecture with MNA Amir Khadir on the boycott, divestment and sanctions campaign (BDS) against the Israeli occupation on Thursday, March 24th. The conference is being hosted in partnership with the Coalition for Justice in Palestine of UQAM (CJP-UQAM). President and spokesperson for Québec solidaire with Françoise David, Amir Khadir was elected to the National Assembly of Quebec in the riding of Mercier in the 2008 elections. A medical specialist, he has been active for many years in community-based work and international solidarity. Because of his recent support for a boycott campaign against a Montreal shoe store carrying Israeli shoes, Mr. Khadir has been vigorously attacked by opponents of the boycott of Israel. Québec solidaire supports the BDS campaign and advocates a boycott of Israeli products, and public and commercial awareness.
