If the NDP convention produces breakthrough policies and ensured support for creation of environmentally friendly jobs , along with a detailed explanation of the program and how it would be preferable to simply expanding (un)employment benefits far into the next decade, does anyone here think that would be both preferable and possible (given the complete absence of media and leftwing support for the party)?
Or will the frightened masses go for the traditional lower taxes spiel, already being put out there by the Cons? Leave the social and environmental issues to be solved by Iggy, Steve, Liz and independent others?
This is offered up in the hope that this board is capable of discussing issues of environment and survival - and in the light of Frustrated Mess's return, armed with a new take on economics, the possibility of learning something from discussion?
