Despite the squabble over anglicisms, a consensus did emerge on English: As long as French is the dominant language in Quebec, English and other languages should no longer be seen as a threat, but rather as a necessary complement to French and a bridge to the larger world outside Quebec.
And another thing: More effort should be put into improving French Quebecers' increasingly poor command of their own language ...
