The Toronto Media Coop has compiled several investigative reports on the election:
While Rob Ford has won the election he only received 47% of the popular vote and 15% of the total population voting for him. This is better than James Pasternak who won a seat in Ward 10 with only 19% of the popular vote, and 5% of his constituents voting for him. Pasternak was one of 14 new face on council. The Toronto Media Coop has examined the contributions to Ford and Pantalone's campaigns, including a partial list of which corporate leader donated to Rob Ford.
