Is it me, or have many of the campaign adds had an emphasis on masculinity ? All this talk of strong leadership, masculine posing (think Jack Layton's add where he's posing with his arms crossed at the end, or the discourse around Stepahen Dion as head of the Liberal party), etc Do they think this makes them more electable ? It kind of makes my stomach queasy.
