I was watching a US network last week where students said it would take them 20 years to pay back their student university loans; college loans take a long time to pay off as well, and students were questioned if it takes so long to pay back loans, then why bother when there are other jobs available like high paying construction labour.
I got my two degrees and paid them both off within five years of graduation - but that was a long time ago. If education is this expensive today, I think I'd become a truck driver instead. I can't see going into that kind of debt before actually getting a permanent job!!!
Closing for length.
