Shun witchcraft, Pope tells AngolansPhilip Pullella, Reuters

Pope Benedict yesterday urged Catholics in Angola to shun witchcraft and woo back those who have left the Catholic church to join other religious groups, including some that believe in spirits and sorcerers.
The 81-year-old Pope, showing signs of fatigue in the humid heat, said a mass for several thousand people inside a church as thousands followed the service outside.
In his homily, he urged his listeners to reach out to those Angolans who believe in witchcraft and spirits. "So many of them are living in fear of spirits, of malign and threatening powers. In their bewilderment they even end up condemning street children and the elderly as alleged sorcerers," he said.

Oh so believing in the devil and being a satanist is okay? Say nothing in believing in the mythical jesus who died for your sins before you commit(ted) them.
Hope the heat gets him.
LOL. This is good.
Think I will rewrite his quote "so many of them are living in fear of God of malign and threatening powers. In their bewilderment they end up condemning gay people and people of different faiths as illeged seeds of the devil."
He said this while performing transubstantiation.
"In their bewilderment they even end up condemning street children..."
Which is only okay if the child is a victim of incest and rape, apparently (see here and here).
This from the guy that wears a dildo on his head and tells people not to use condoms. I hope it's no mystery now to people how Catholic Popes can inspire almost incandescent flames of hatred towards them from gay people.
Every gay person I knew cheered when Pope John Paul II finally friggin' croaked.
Ah but an necessary evil the church and state will tell you of their existance.
