1.Neither is your hypothesis certain. We do know that the Muslim Brotherhood, and it's many iterations, would love to get its hands on Libya...Just like it's licking it's chops on getting its hands on Tunisia and Egypt...
Talk about a nightmare scenario...
2.I suspect the easier route for those left in Libya not killed by Khaddaffi is to get the guns and ammo from the willing Islamofascist traders who will expect a little payback when the time arrives...Expediency being the issue...
3.Again,if by "We" you mean "The West"...So did the Soviets and so did Abdel Gemal Nasser get involved in Libya. Both super powers propped up some hideous characters over the years for political and military expediency's sake...We're seeing a form of payback because of this,I suppose?
What is the "Just" option,in this case?
Doing nothing,by using the "Let the people decide" cop out is not an option at all.It guarantees an Khaddaffi led bloodbath, and in my opinion, guarantees an Islamofascist revolt agianst that result
Are you sure?
You might think so,
But I don't.
We are definately going to find out...
I suspect that by nightfall in Libya tomorrow,or early Saturday morning...Col. Khaddaffi is going to get a little wake up call!!!
This... and if some wealthy supporters want to finance a squadron of jet jockeys to challenge the Gadaffi air force (kind' a like the Flying Tigers in China in WW2) so be it.
By the way the biggest killer of the rebels is artillery, the big stiff, not air strikes... so the no fly zone is a bit of a waste without airstrikes on Gadaffi combat units at the front.
This is what the Gadaffi forces are shooting at the rebels and those cities...
The Palmaria self-propelled howitzer was developed specially for export. I think its French... I could be wrong.
