Noura Erekat: Netanyahu's Proposed West Bank Annexation is Logical End To Israel's Apartheid Policy

"Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is facing worldwide condemnation for vowing to annex nearly a third of the occupied West Bank if he wins next week's snap election. The UN, Arab League, the EU and Russia have all criticized Netanyahu's stand which he unveiled Tuesday. We speak with Noura Erakat, Palestinian human rights attorney."

To All Canadian Voters Contemplating Voting For Pro-Israel Candidates (ALL of them)

"To those who still support the Apartheid Israel colonization state; Watch this video. A full squad of terrorist Israeli Soldiers Beating Up A Small Palestinian Child. Who can agree with such Barbarity and continue supporting Israel?"

Reconsider. And tell your chosen candidate. Silence is complicity.

"The Likudnik fanatic who pledged to annex the West Bank vs the destroyer of Gaza who's fighting war crimes charges in a Dutch court on Election Day." Canada will continue to back either while Canucklehead 'progressive' voters prefer not to talk about their own parties support for this murderous apartheid regime and its crimes.

In addition, they claim, the arrival of more than one million Muslim refugees since 2015 has made Germany a more dangerous place for Jews.

Actually, Mulroney was a leader of the international campaign to end apartheid. He stood up to Thatcher at Commonwealth meetings, and openly opposed his pal Reagan. One of the first places Mandela visited after he was freed was Canada, where he expressed his gratitude for the Mulroney government's support. I don't have much good to say about Mulroney, but I have to give him this one.

Yes, but the entire history prior to Mulroney was supportive. DIA used to be full of South African administrators hired because of their experience with 'natives'. And of course the South African apartheid system was largely modeled on Canada's reserve system.

Pity our political class has no similar fire in the belly to destroy Israeli apartheid.

Palestinian death toll climbs to 24 as Israel bombards Gaza for a second day

At least 69 people were wounded in the Israeli attacks on the Palestinian enclave

Wednesday night, Islamic Jihad leader Zeyad al-Nakhala reportedly laid down terms for a ceasefire from Beirut.  They included Israel ending targeted killings and its military responses to Gaza border protests, as well as measures to ease the Israeli blockade of the Palestinian enclave. If these terms were not met by Israel, he said, his group could continue its cross-border attacks indefinitely....

...fat chance of that

US & Israel Cast Lone UN Votes Against Historic Peace Measures

"...At the same meeting, the First Committee approved a draft resolution on 'The Risk of Nuclear Proliferation in the Middle East,' which called for the region to abide by the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons (NPT). Given Israel is the only country in the Middle East with nuclear weapons, the UNGA resolution called on Tel Aviv to join the NPT (Israel has long refused to sign the treaty) and demanded that Israeli nuclear facilities be overseen by International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) safeguards.

The draft resolution was also overwhelmingly approved, with 151 votes in support and a mere six votes against - from the US, Israel and Canada, along with the tiny island nations of Palau, Micronesia and the Marshall Islands, which function as vassals of Washington at the UN."

Will Canadians ever demand an end to their politicians awful open collaboration with Apartheid Israel?

"Liberal Zionist media constantly attacks Iran, yet the MBS-led, Daesh-sponsoring wahhabi Saudis preside over a haven of liberalism and openness."

Because it's now a Zionist ally,  manufacturing consent for Apartheid Israel's closer 'warmer' relations is necessary.

ICC Prosecutor Acts As Israel's Defense Lawyer

"The International Criminal Court prosecutor is again giving Israel a pass for its deadly raid on a flotilla to Gaza a decade ago. Israeli soldiers fatally wounded 10 people aboard the Mavi Marmara after raiding the ship, which was part of a civilian flotilla. On Monday, Fatou Bensouda declared she is standing by her 2015 decision not to open an investigation into the attack - despite the court's judges telling her twice to reconsider.

Bensouda acknowledges that 'there is  a reasonable basis to believe that war crimes wer ecommitted by members of the Israel Defense Forces' when they boarded the Mavi Marmara. But she insists that the Israeli attack on the high seas is not 'sufficiently gave' to warrant prosecution. 'With this decision, the intent is to safeguard Israel - so flagrantly right under the international community's nose - against any indictments of war crimes,' the lawyers for the victims state..."

Doesn't the ICC know that Apartheid Israel has international immunity for any and all of its crimes and the kangaroo court should best stick to its usual diet of official imperial enemies and black Africans?

UN Officially Asks Israel to Leave The Golan Heights

By Middle East Monitor

Global Research, December 06, 2019

Middle East Monitor 5 December 2019

Theme: ,

The UN General Assembly yesterday officially asked Israel to leave the occupied Syrian Golan Heights.

The request was made after the resolution was adopted after 91 UN member states voted in favour, nine rejected and 65 abstained.

The resolution stipulates that Israel leaves all the Syrian Golan Heights occupied in June 1967, stating this is an implementation of the UN Security Council’s resolution.

Regarding the Israeli decision to annex the Golan Heights made on 4 December 1981, the UN said this was “null and void”.

On 15 November 2018, the UN General Assembly adopted a resolution asking Israel to stop exploiting the natural resources in the Palestinian territories, including the occupied East Jerusalem and Syrian Golan Heights.

According to the Supreme Court of Canada, Canada must now introduce legislation in Parliament to request Israel leave the Golan Heights.....

Cotler Urges Trudeau To Name Anti-Semitism Envoy

"...Non violent 'ideological' anti-Semitism is also a  danger, he warned. This includes denial of Israel's right to exist and, 'its most sophisticated form, the laundering of anti-Semitism under universal values: the protection of the UN, the cover of international law, the culture of human rights and the struggle against racism.' Cotler used the occasion to reiterate the Jewish community and others' displeasure with Canada's vote at the UN in favour of a resolution affirming Palestinians' self-determination, reversing a 15-year record..."

'The Canadian Jewish Community has a strong voice in Canadian politics and if we use our voice constructively, we can encourage political support for the causes we hold dear. Justin Trudeau has expressed his unwavering support for Israel time and time again, and his staff, advisors and cabinet members are attuned to the needs and interests of the Jewish community...let's appreciate the stance he has taken in support of Israel and let's continue to strengthen this relationship between Canadian Jewry and the Prime Minister of Canada..."

The Israeli Right Has Reason To Believe The Stars Are Finally Aligned For Annexation

"...According to Israeli analysts, the right percieves itself at a historic crossroads. It can annex most of the West Bank and impose an unmistakeable apartheid rule over a restless, rebellious Palestinian population. Or it can realise its Greater Israel ambitions by helping to topple the Hashemite kingdom and encourage the West Bank's Palestinians to disperse into Jordan. All Israeli right-wingers need is a nod of approval from the White House. With Netanyahu desperate to pull a rabbit out of his hat and with an obliging patron installed in Washington, there is reason enough for them to believe that the stars may finally be aligned."

In the Name of 'Israel's Security': Retreating US Gives Israel More in Military Funding

"Billions of US taxpayers' money will continue to be funneled into Israel in the next fiscal year, and for many years in the foreseeable future. Republicans and Democratic senators have recently achieved just that, passing a Bill aimed at providing $3.3 billion in annual aid...The unconditional aid, and other self-defeating US funding of the Israeli war machine is largely linked to domestic politics and, indeed, the unparalleled power wielded by the pro-Israel lobby in the United States. Inexplicably, Israel receives roughly 'one-third of the American foreign-aid budget, even though it comprises just .001 percent of the world's population and already has one of the world's highest per capita incomes,' wrote Prof Stephen Zunes in the Washington Report on Middle East Affairs..."

Canada also supports Apartheid Israel. It shouldn't.

"I came here to thank you for your support of Israel. Canada supports us also because of you and their relations with you and because of your ability to make the case for the Zionist movement in the land of Israel." - President of Israel, 2019.

Gantz pledges to annex Jordan Valley when elected

 Jan 21, 2020 @ 15:35

Opposition Kahol Lavan’s Benny Gantz pledged on Tuesday, if he is elected, to extend Israel sovereignty to the Jordan Valley, Israel’s key eastern border – “in coordination with the international community.” Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu made this earlier commitment without the international proviso. He challenged Gantz to enact the step in the Knesset without delay since it was now consensual. Why wait for the March election?  Likud accused Gantz of a vote-stealing dodge which was meaningless since the international community would never agree. And the left accused him of cozying up to the right.

Netanyahu Exploits the Holocaust To Brutalize the Palestinians

"Benjamin Netanyahu did not invent the idea of leveraging the Holocaust for political gain. Yet, like so much else in current Israeli politics, he is taking evan that low to new depths..."

"As Netanyahu and Gantz head for Washington, Israeli Defence Minister Naftali Bennett says Israel will 'under no condition allow for the establishment of a Palestinian state."

That seems clear enough. Apartheid South Africa used to say much the same. Over to you world...
