The Wall Street Journal reports that Russian President Dmitry Medvedev has granted an interview with Novaya Gazeta. The English version of the interview can be found on the Russian President's website.
It was Medvedev's first interview with a Russian newspaper since being elected President. The paper has been sharply critical of Medvedev and his predecessor Vladimir Putin, and has had 4 of its reporters murdered or die under mysterious circumstances.
Not a bad interview, despite the expected remarks of the WSJ, and Medvedev avoided getting sucked into predicting some decisions of Russian courts. Perhaps some change is afoot.
