My brother and few other people that I know have had interviews for jobs at the Ontario Public Service. Everyone is saying the same thing; a big part of the assessment was to see how well they prepare a slide deck presentation but they weren’t asked anything about whether they know how to serve a diverse province like Ontario. How could an organization that is costing this province billions to serve Ontario are not concern about whether the people they hire know how to serve a diverse province? If they don’t know how to serve a diverse province then they are not qualified to serve Ontario.
Services in Ontario haven’t been effective because they are not designed to serve a diverse province. Drummond wants to cut the services but it doesn't offer the appropriate solutions. they can make the services effective and efficient if they hire qualified employees specially qualified management staff.
I think it is important for our money to be spend efficiency. If programs are not effective then they are not efficient.
