What's next on rabble podcasts...anti-vaxxers?

https://rabble.ca/podcasts/shows/rabble-radio/2020/01/5g-wireless-technology-coming-it-safe

It would seem that the rabble podcast network is providing a platform for 5G conspiracy theorists and assorted NIMBY types who just don't like the look of towers and antennas.

These are the same types who claim all sorts of mythical health effects from wind turbines.

The thing is, there actually is one serious issue for society around 5G networks and it isn't what the conspiracy theorists say it is.

The real issue?   The lack of privacy on 5G networks and the ability for these types of networks to pinpoint your geographical position at all times to within inches.    Google can already do it using geolocation to within six to ten feet.

That is the real issue that isn't getting attention in the corporate media.

The 5G network conspiracy theorists talking about alleged "health effects" are just so much woo woo crap and a complete distraction.

Between surveillance concerns and health dangers there's  ample reasons to question 5G's implementation without public education, consultation or consent. Please post further evidence for either.

We Have No Reason To Believe 5G is Safe

"Numerous recent scientific publications have shown that EMF affects living organisms at levels well below most international and national guidelines. The scientists who signed this appeal arguably constitute the majority of experts on the effects of nonionizing radiation. They have published more than 2,000 papers and letters on EMF in professional journals..."

The blogger in Scientific American has no background in electronics engineering or physics and lacks a thing called a medical degree.

Here's the real substantive issue with 5G  PRIVACY.

Currently through wifi triangulation Google can figure out your position to within six to ten feet by geomapping all of the wifi routers it's constantly pinging.   That's why Google Maps works so well.   They're spying on you.

With highly directional 5G antenna bundles everywhere, the forces of surveillance capitalism can pinpoint your location to within inches, the better to serve you ads based on your location.

That issue is REAL.

Unless you have your mouth wrapped around the 5G antennas the "health effects" issue is totally fake.   The 5G conspiracy theorists are like the woo woo nutbars who allege health effects from wind turbines or the anti-vaxxers.

As a site that claims to be left wing, rabble should not be providing a platform to these kinds of folks...who are often tied in with the other nutbar right-wing conspiracy theorists like the anti-vaxxers.  It's bullshit and a distraction from the real substantive issues.
